Well why would I not use Rapid mode it clearly makes it faster I don't understand what the problem is.. so then Rapid mode was what made mine faster Bonus in my opinion.. here is the test without Rapid Mode:

    Attachment 120730
Because you're not benching the drive, you're benching the RAM cache that it creates. I kinda figured that would be self explanatory.....I guess not. /boggle

He wants you to turn off rapid mode because you are not benching the drive, only the cache, lol.

    Single 950

    2 950's in R0

What board are you using? Or are you using a PCIe slot?

I have both 950's on the R5v10 right now. That R0 run was back on my Asrock 170 board when the 950's first came out. Not enough throughput for them to scale at all and other than benching no real need for R0 for me anyway.

Right now I have one in an M2 slot and one in a pcie adapter.

I played around with the ASRock TaiChi because it had 2 x m.2 slots, but it wouldn't allow for a RAID config. Meh

Yeah my Asrock mobo had 3 M2 slots with raid enabled but there was simply no way the chipset could handle the speed. You can see from the run how poorly they scaled. Not to mention it was somewhat unstable being so new. Maybe intels raid drivers are better now for that setup.

    TaiChi was an x99?

Yeah. I used it for a while when my ASUS was being RMAd.

I used to have the AS SSD program when I was on Win 7. Not on my Win 10.
But here is the Samsung Magician scores (I do not use the Magician system tweaks).

My three drives, you can clearly see that modern SSDs are hitting the SATA ceiling:
