Well I don't have it set to startup with Windows, actually I hardly ever even use it, and my fans work prefect. But I never used the default fans that came with it either.

Don't really care for their Link software much either. I have it setup, and watch my temps a lot using other software. But I never liked the default fans that came with it much. So never used them. I can monitor those fans without using the Link Software.

1) Control them in bios if your MB supports it. Most MB's support case fan control. Some can control those radiator fans, some don't, some need an add in card to control the rad fans.

3) Plug everything in and don't control the CPU cooler fans in MB bios or software. The fans will run at default speeds all the time, which can be fine but is usually pretty low. MB controls all my fans, I can actually see them running just by looking in my case window. When the CPU starts to get too warm (OC'n) those fans automatically SPEED UP. I can hear them increase in speed. Look at my spec's. Asus MB :)

And I am talking about the 2 fans for the radiator :)

I ordered two Noctua NF-12P fans as its cheaper than a different cooler. Probably be late next week for delivery (3 to 5 business days) from Newegg.

You can buy them from any place you want....But ....Amazon most of the time is cheaper for the exact same part. I also get the items in 2 days....sometimes 3.

I don`t even use that software and I put the original fans back in the box too, they are way too loud.

I bought Corsair SP140`s and connected them straight to 12 volt. They are very quiet, only 1440 RPM, and a pair of Thermaltake Luna 14 Slims for space reasons and they only run at 1200 RPM
