Looking good Mike, don't forget that as a general rule you can crank the mem on most 2080ti's. I use the galax OC tool so I can move slider past +1000. AB stops at +1000. Pretty sure X1 allows for more than +1000, just not a fan of that particular software.

I think Precision X has been in beta for the past few years. If it weren't for the asynchronous fans on the FTW3 I wouldn't have it installed. It's not nice to mess with my gaming software. Not appreciated in the least.

It's been years since I used EVGA software. Always found AB to be easier to use with more options. And a whole lot less bugs.

Yeah, I agree. But with the asynchronous fans on the FTW 3, you have little choice. AB will only run 1 of the fans. You have to use Precision for all 3 fans to work right. I usually set the fans with PX then close it and open AB. Maybe I should water cool it

    Hi,
Yeah worth for nothing more than getting rid of evga precision crashware lol
    Quiet is just a bonus
OC wise I didn't see a lot of gains from water but changing pigeon poop and thermal pads I believe did the most good oc'ing memory and core temps were better I remember because I didn't install the water block exactly right and I put the air cooler back on and it was a little better than before.

I eventually got the water block on right and it's okay when the screws aren't bottoming out on the plexi and not snugging up to the pads...
