I think many are expecting Vega to perform somewhere between a 1080 and a 1080TI. But I echo sygnus21, or in other words show me the benchmarks.

Honestly AMD Gpu's weren't bad until after the 7970 then somewhere along the line AMD lost it's way

I would really like to try EVGA's OC Scanner and Precision X, but they want you to create an account and login, and they require waaaaaayyyy to much personal information that they have no business knowing in my opinion.

    EVGA - Support - Signup
None of their business in my opinion:

Can't you just lie a bit if it worries you? Set you IP address to UK and say you are the Queen of England or something.

It's the principal of the matter, they should know that servers can be hacked, that people are very sensible about personal data these days, and really, why in the heck do they need a phone number?

The program is designed for EVGA cards and is geared toward EVGA product holders. Most people with an EVGA product have already created an account to register their product in case of a service request. It makes an RMA very easy, simple and quick. It also allows you to post on their forums where a lot of very sharp people as well as Tech Reps post. None of that info appears on the forum site.

That being said, I happen to agree with you if you don't fall into the above category.

But Steve, I'm a member at MSI Forums, and they only wanted an email address, that's it.
