Aw crap, I didn't even see your post. I use the 10 forums app on my phone a lot of times, and it doesn't always leave me where I left off.

Were you referring to your audiophile post? That is a nice setup you have there. I'm also running the Audio Technica ATH-M50's at home. My daughter uses them on her Yamaha digital piano, and I use them for music. They get a little warm on my ears after a long listening session, but for the price, they are very hard to beat.

    essenbe said:
One should never disappoint their Nephews. Go get a TI. You know you want to and you know you are going to. Quit fighting the inevitable, just do it.
I showed this post to the 4 younger nephews. Guess what, there are 4 new members in the essenbe fan club.

One said that guy (you) will likely hit 10K graphic score in Time Spy at EVGA FTW3 stock. I said, with all due respect to benchmarks, so what. Then he said you (me) will likely be able to maintain a minimum 120 FPS at Ultra in BF1, BF4, Witcher3, which you don't quite get now.

    Hmmm, smart kid.

Cool. Now my fan club has 4 members. Tell them they are Charter members. I hope they are right, time will tell. When you give them your 1080 and get your TI, they will be members of your fan club and mine will cease to exist. Tell them I said thanks.

I will tell them you said thanks. But no, I think my 1080 is fine for now. What games do you have, BF1, etc?

Have you ever noticed that most graphic sites post highest and average FPS in their reviews and NOT minimum FPS. Drives me nuts. Perhaps you and other 10 forum members upgrading (like DUDE TI ) can let me know, but especially you who also runs at 1080P.

Yea, I have played BF1, but I never noticed framerates. I guess I should, but I usually only notice when it doesn't seem to be running well.

Are you going to give Precision XOC a try? The OSD works very well in DX games. Be interested to know if you get a 0 Time Spy score with the OSD enabled, like Blackrose and I do.

I'm guessing our essenbe could care less about changing his FTW3 colors so maybe you're going to be using AB. I have no clue about this but I did see some mods on the EVGA site state that for ocing EVGA cards, XOC works better than AB. I guess Vellinious would know.

I will probably try both. In the recent past I have better results with AB. But, used to, you couldn't beat XOC. I just figured it was because XOC was for the Pascal cards now and I still had a Maxwell card. Maybe not, but I will try both. No, I really don't care what color the LEDs are. It is a custom PCB which is wider and longer than the FE so I doubt the Titan block would work. I hope EKWB will make a block, if that's the case. I may give it a try.

Ya, actually if I remember correctly, the EVGA mods said XOC works better on EVGA Pascal cards. Again, no clue.

Look at this essenbe. The Asus Rog Strix 1080TI hits a 9929 Time Spy graphic score at stock. I guess the FTW3 will be similar. EVGA customers will benefit from EVGA now focused on cooling.

Cool. I expect the FTW3 will be close to that (hopefully better :) ).

My nephew might be close with his 10K Time Spy graphic score prediction for the FTW3 at stock.
