2017 Hardware Thread

Nice looking board and seems to have had some early success so far....

With so many folks mostly talking about Overclocking the new Ryzen processors that are showing little headroom it seems....

It was interesting to see a comparison of Ryzen against Intel in regards to Storage Performance.......Here is a decent preview of how the two combatants fared head-to-head....

On a side note with the problems with the Ryzen products I just blew my cash on a new GPU, my new GTX1070 will be here Wednesday....hopefully......

At least waiting to go there gives you more time to save cash. It's only a forty-five minute drive for me to the nearest Microcenter and of late I've gone there too much. Must...stop...spending...money. So I tell myself. Just got back from there to pickup another SSD so no HDDs in the system only for backup use now. That place is always busy, middle of the day on Tuesday and still wait in a line.

Yea, I would be financially embarrassed if I lived that close to Micro Center........

Last night I cancelled my order for a new GTX1070 and reordered at 1060 and with the savings ordered a new set of RAM.......

Not a bad decision at all. Spread the money around a bit and you get an overall better system. Are you ending then with more RAM?

I live about 45 minutes from the Michigan store, but I rarely go. Maybe I will have to go for a visit.

Only go if you've got some cash that you're itching to spend.
