Yeah, I keeping mine until I'm forced to replace it. Right now I keep it in a cubby hole where the sides are hidden so I don't need all the fancy bells and whistles of showing off the sides of the case. When I look at getting a new work desk sometime next year. After that, I'll look to get a new case. Right now I REALLY need of a new work desk since I've had this one since 1998....

As you can see, that desk was never intended to hold a monitor larger then 21 inches. Back then 17inch was the norm.
You could post it to TechSource on YouTube for the Setup Wars:)

That's interesting. Never seen that before. I might consider it, though it's not something I'm really into.

    Thanks.

It gave me the kick in the backend(made me feel guilty) to clean up my cable management OUTSIDE of the PC

I mean I live alone, and don't have guests very often, and the ones who do come over, are not judgmental.

Look at that. The previous Link version 4.8.3.8 although it fixed the Corsair CUE/Link conflict was still giving me that time measurement data not available 3DMark message, as all 4.8 versions were.

Just ran a stock Time Spy run with Link 4.9.0.57 installed and voila valid run.

Hey I just noticed, that's a 10337 Time Spy graphic score on this Asus 1080 TI at stock. It must have got all excited running at 100% usage for a change after running Project Cars 2 half asleep.

I see the new thing is optical drive less cases now. I guess I'm in the minority of still using one
I remember about 5 years ago when laptops started going without optical drives and people were losing their minds. I don't think I have had one in about 4 years now. I do keep an external DVD Burner at home, but I've only used it a couple of times.

If I need something from a DVD(like the manual or drivers for new hardware), I can copy it on my laptop, then send it to my main machine through Homegroup.

Same problem with my desk. I have a standard desk, but it has a hutch over the top that has room for the monitor, but it won't hold my monitor. Fortunately, since flat panels are thin, I just keep it outside just like you do. Also need room for multiple monitors.

Very nice on the audio setup, That part speaks to me.

IVery nice. And speaking of looking at cases, I just ran into the new HAF case as well....
I really like the look of that case. I just think my system would end up looking a little silly in that case since I don't use radiators, or liquid cooling, etc.

Someday, I'm going to build myself a new box.
