My 970 lives! I uninstalled the drivers for the 970 with the R9 in it and then put the 970 back in and I had video! I must have got a bad driver. I have seen this at work a lot recently. Video drivers BSOD computers.

Intel discontinues the Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K

Intel just issued a Product Change Notification (PCN) that lays out the schedule for the discontinuance of four sixth-generation CPUs: the Core i3-6098P, Core i5-6402P, Core i5-6600K, and Core i7-6700K. The document says that Intel started the process of discontinuing these CPUs yesterday, and that it will be taking the last orders for these chips by March 30 of 2018.

I'm glad I got mine.
Such a good chip, that overclocks to 4.9GHz on air(and doesn't overheat like the Kaby Lake series), actually in my chips case, it runs better at 4.9 than any lower frequencies at that.

I bought my first mechanic keyboard. Man I have been missing out this is an awesome keyboard. Logitech G413 Carbon.

Kaby Lakes are great, a little warmer but great Chips

Betcha can't run 4.9GHz on a fan with only 2000rpm max speed with a Kaby though, with temps between 32° idle and only 65° Performance Test

Or 72° when running Cinebench and making a screenshot while on Skype, all at the same time :

Of course it downclocks then

I can in the winter and mine doesn't downclock :)
