Fully loaded it might not be able to play even Solitaire. Definitively not a gaming machine.

Top secret Corsair Link 4.8.0.82 (should be version 007 ) came through as an update in the link software last night. Thankfully, they didn't take back any of the 4 free phantom fans they gave me LONG AGO.

Seems it's so secret, Corsair themselves don't even know it's been released:

I guess no release notes for this top secret version. Good strategy - their release notes have been more than boring for me since the downhill slide since 4.5.055.

Yup, I got the same update last night too. No information or release notes like you mentioned, even on their forum. 1 guy asked a question about it, never saw a reply back. Guess its Top Secret like you said.

    Did you see this, dudeAMD?

AMD Announces Ryzen Threadripper 1920X and 1950X processors

And the performance bang for the buck is all AMD at the top. The best Intel price/performance isn't the I5, it's your I7 7700K.

I'm very tired of this, OldMike. There was a time when reputable hardware vendors' software simply worked without issue. What's going on? They don't seem to care or reply when you post the issues on their forums. Either they are technically overwhelmed or just don't care.

With my next hardware build, I will be looking at performing hardware and vendor software that works. I'm concerned I'll have limited choices.

In case anyone is interested(it showed up as a recommended video for me today, I don't know why, as I avoid all AMD product videos, but hey, the more you know... right?):
