Great Cliff, I always try to buy most of my stuff off Amazon, mainly because of there customer support for returns. Always good to know ahead of time. :)

Oh yeah, I was happy to find out about this company, because Germany is really a Technic Desert/without even tumbleweed). and I do not buy things online. I just search and inform there.

Now, if you read the PDF for the board, and saw all the settings and doo-dads, I just need to find an LN² supplier

Very preliminary Vega Frontier Edition Firestrike numbers at Guru3d. Guru3d mentions the stock graphic score of 22916 is about 10% faster than a GTX 1080. Makes sense as my EVGA FTW 1080 stock score is about 22.8. Believe, as they mention, stock 1080TI/Titan XP scores are around 28K.

I'm waiting to see the Vega scores after they iron out the drivers and optimize them. Also, the article talks about the PC holding it back. I wonder just how powerful a CPU you must have to get a Vega to run at it's full potential?

I watched a video last night (don't remember who) that said the Frontier was a commercial card not a Consumer/Gaming card. I believe it starts at about 3:30 into it.

Steve i have seen 2 reviews and one of them was from a AMD rep about it being directed at people who want to do 3d projects but couldn't afford cards to use auto cad and stuff like that on

Yet they still tested games on it

Yea, from what I gather AMD is "playing both ends against the middle". They are saying it is a enterprise/Workstation card but are showing tests against gaming cards like the Titan. If they want it to be a content workstation card, they should be testing it against the Quadro cards and other workstation cards. From what I understand, they are very different type cards. I have never owned a workstation card, but have been told they are pretty much different animals. The video said these are not the Gaming cards. They wll come out with the gaming cards later.
