What do the clocks have to do with anything? I'm talking about the XOC issues that have been presented to EVGA numerous times over the years and are not addressed. In fact, there are more issues with the latest release.

My clocks in that pic are perfectly normal for a 1080 running at Nvidia optimal power.
Well don't use it......for me it runs ok. Your clocks are A LOT Lower than mine, plus I run it overclocked, your was not. Take Care. :)

The problem is if I use AB I lose LED control, which I paid for. I have asked EVGA for those of us who want to be freed from XOC, please give Nvidia the ability to control LED in the Nvidia control panel. No response.

Lucky for me, however, I have the old obsolete EOL ACX cooling. So both fans can be controlled with AB. With the ICX cooling AB isn't really an option as the secondary fans run at default. And IMHO, given the current state of XOC, there is no way I'm going to be locked into XOC, given it's needed for ICX cooling, in a future purchase.

Well, I went ahead and did it. Couldn't wait for Microsoft so I purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga X1 (Gen 2) with a 14-inch OLED display. Configuration...

    ● Intel Core i7-7600U Processor (4MB Cache, up to 3.90GHz)
    ● Windows 10 Pro 64
    ● 14.0 WQHD (2560 x 1440) OLED Touch
    ● 16GB LPDDR3 1866
    ● Intel HD Graphics 620
    ● 1 TB Solid State Drive PCIe-NVMe (supposed to be a Samsung 961 drive)
    ● ThinkPad Backlit Keyboard
    ● Integrated Fingerprint Reader
    ● ThinkPad Pen Pro 6.5mm BK
    ● Intel Dual Band Wireless AC(2x2) 8265, Bluetooth Version 4.1, vPro

Also has two Thunderbolt Type C, and 3 USB 3.0 connections, plus an HDMI connection. Unfortunately, this is a custom build taking the slow boat from China, so the expected delivery date is around the end of June. I knew this going in so

It's here. Came earlier than expected :)

Comes with a Wacom pen that stows away in the side of the notebook.

This image doesn't do this OLED screen justice as the colors are impressive - screen res is 2560 x 1440

Though this book comes in just under 3 lbs., actually feels even lighter than that. It's definitely lighter than my 13 inch Asus Zenbook Prime. BTW, this (X1) is a 14 inch Ultrabook.

The only thing I don't like about it right off the bat is the fan tends to get loud when ramped up. And sometimes the fan ramps up for no reason. Need to look into that.

It did come with Windows 10 Pro, Creator so I didn't have to do that update. Had some others though. That's to be expected.

Anyway I'm still setting things up and getting it configured to my likings. Will post back more as I move along.

Very nice rig. A little jealous. My X220 fans seemed to ramp up all the time for no reason as well. It seems like a Lenovo Thinkpad thing. I have multiple Thinkpad's and they all do it.

Thanks. And thanks for the info. I also noticed a reviewer reporting the same. She seemed rather annoyed by it and I can see why now as the fan does get a bit loud.

Anyway another thing I notice right away is the screen tends to flash when Windows boots. No issues after that. Just something that happens when Windows boots. Perhaps something to do with the OLED screen?

Anyway I Just did a BIOS update so we'll see what happens.

    BTW love the fingerprint reader

I loved my previous Dells that has the fingerprint reader. My latest Dell at work doesn't have one so thats a bummer. But it has a Xeon so thats pretty sweet. Its very quiet, but battery life is not spectacular.

Looks like a really nice machine, thanks for posting.

Nope, Dell Precision 5510. We do have a bunch of Thinkpads at work, but I have the Dell Precision.
