I just downloaded the same version this morning, my Norton's removed it, and quarantined it. So I had to tell Norton to release it back.....not that big a deal. I am now running it, had to go thru a couple screens during the install, updating fans. Twice.... I grabbed the version without the server .....had to make a couple changes in my settings, and its running ok right now for me. List of fixes below...

That's all I meant about jumping through hoops to install.

I'll never be able to retire

If and when you retire you'd have a lot of Hoopity-hoop time to jump thru the hoops.

My biggest pain, was Norton quarantining it Cliff, that did upset me a tad. Its just being over protective of me. :)

What really sucks, is when or if there is a program you really really want, but its program drivers are either not signed, or if you remember, like with Magician, were outdated(for waaaaaay to long), then Windows won't install it regardless what your AV allows, unless you go to BIOS and turn all that great security stuff off(I do without the software then)

Doesn't take a genius to be able to run XOC 6.1.8. Here's mine after telling Kaspersky no it's not malware but I understand why you think it is. Looks to be running just great, doesn't it?

You want pics? Here's a pic of the OSD on the left after setting it to the right.

Here's a pic of Time Spy crashing 100% caused by the XOC OSD.

Here's a pic of losing your custom fan curve after setting it to aggressive:

Here's a pic of the EVGA mod telling me and constantly telling everyone on the EVGA forum to dump Precision XOC and use Afterburner.

Glad you like it. This is my view of XOC. EVGA sorely misses Unwinder.

What do the clocks have to do with anything? I'm talking about the XOC issues that have been presented to EVGA numerous times over the years and are not addressed. In fact, there are more issues with the latest release.

My clocks in that pic are perfectly normal for a 1080 running at Nvidia optimal power.
