Instead of overclocking I will under clock and have the most expensive 1070 in history.

(Only a few days until it here by the way).

I suspect in time, Worf, there will be many 1080TI owners. On the Nvidia side, it is the card enthusiasts and gamers want as the AIB partners, though prepared this time, are still struggling to keep up with demand.

I bet Solarstarshines is having his 1080TI do pushups now awaiting for your new entry into the leaderboards.

PS: what finger was dude showing us in that pic? Oh, ok it was the index finger. :)

Did you see this, essenbe? Seems the 117% power target Bjorn3d showed in the review is indeed the max power on the primary bios for the FTW 3. How weird is that?

For those interested, Precision XOC 6.1.6 is out (guess they skipped 6.1.5) which has optimizations for FTW 3 cards and likely addresses none of my issues.

@specialkone, yes I saw that but the secondary bios goes higher I believe. I have the new Precision XOC downloaded. Doesn't make much sense to me either, but as long as one goes higher, I'm happy. Be sure and enter the 1070 give away. I entered and told @Dude if I won I'd give the 1070 to him. Then he would have a real 1070 and not that lazy one he has now. I thought you could do the same to help the poor guy out. Of course he could get a TI, but he is too cheap to spend the money.

No, I meant the 1070. There is a 1080 TI Give away too though.

I am entered in the contest to win an FTW 3 1080TI. But I think with all my negative (but constructive) comments over there about XOC not keeping up with Unwinder's AB, they may have thrown my entries out.

The secondary bios on the FTW 1080 goes to 130%. No clue what it goes to on the FTW3.

Even our fine Blackrose, always helpful with a great attitude, who has a second 1080TI on the way, I'm sure like the rest of us has no intentions of giving dude anything other than praise for his contributions on this board. Dude can take that to the bank, but it ain't going to help his benchmark scores. :)

I'm in that contest as well. Good luck to you. I think I used up all my contest karma when I won a nice batch of DDR3 RAM from Newegg a few years ago.

As for Dude, you are right on there. His contributions to this board are very much appreciated. :)

I'm still kind of wishing I'd held out for an FTW3 card. If my second FE card OCs as little as my first one, I may sell them both and look into getting one.

Second sits down with the Zotac 1080 Ti AMP Extreme and Overclocks the card further, extensive synthetic benchmarks and some gaming benchmarks. In addition a RGB walk through.
