    Looking good, Worf.

    "Who is this product for?
Professional gamers and alike will achieve perfect viewing and gaming experience with this 144Hz gaming monitor. Fast response time and 144Hz guarantee sharp and crisp image even with fast moving objects. For FPS games where you have to react fast as enemies keep jumping out of nowhere, you will have the advantage of undistorted and clearly visible objects.
    Summary
This 144Hz gaming monitor provides excellent resolution and image quality, top notch response time and a beautiful design.
Considering DELL's rival monitors in this area you'd have to pay much more in order to come close to the image quality of DELL S2716DG. While most of other 144hz gaming monitors have many more gaming related features, very few of them can provide image quality like DELL in this price range."

Dell S2716DG Review 2017 - Great 144Hz Monitor for the Money

I have always been curious about G-Sync. Let us know how you like it. Of course you will likely have to keep that refresh rate well above 100HZ, otherwise that Zotac TI of yours will possibly blow G Sync up.

PS: be patient with TI delivery. These things always happen with new product release.

Speaking of being patient, or NOT, doesn't look like we will get any 1080 TI FTW 3 reviews this week

If they wait too much longer, reviewers will be benchmarking it against Vega AND Volta.

The 1080 Ti FTW3 is not supposed to be released until at least May 5th

I`m waiting too, it will be at least another month.

I`m still waiting for them to give me info on the Elite Gamer version.

Although I`m probably just gonna get the FE, hell I could get one from nvidia right now, they`re all the same.

GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Graphics Cards | NVIDIA GeForce

    Just gonna wait :)

The FTW3 will be released to pre orders on May 1. Most retail stores I've seen say they expect stock on May 17th.

Well that "shot" LOL was directed more at Nvidia rather than EVGA. The AIB partners are hard at work getting their best TI versions out. EVGA taking longer, but they have a lot to prove this time around (cooling) and first signs (SC2) are that they are indeed delivering. Meanwhile we have "Nvidia talk" about a quick Volta release. How is that helping AIB partners sell their "baddest and best" 1080TI's?

Maybe it's greedy investors who are seeing a downturn after Nvidia'a amazing 2016 numbers and looking for something new. Who would expect Nvidia to maintain 2016 levels? Don't see how an early Volta release would help. Most with a 1080 aren't buying a 1080TI. Most who buy a 1080TI won't but first generation Volta.

The only thing that makes sense to me on an early Volta release is that Vega actually comes close to 1080TI. I wish AMD all the luck in the world and Nvidia needs the competition. I would be surprised (pleasantly) if they can compete.

I do understand the comment Pascal is typically all the same. But if I was going for a high end EVGA 1080TI, I'd wait for the FTW3. They will be clocked higher and as PC World mentions, should wait to look at FTW 3 TI for overclocking. Look at my 1080 FTW numbers. They are always up there with the 1080's and running cool. I have zero overclocking skills so my Time Spy/ Firestrike scores are about the card, not me.

Absolutely nothing wrong with buying a 1080TI now IMHO. Amazing performance at a decent price (meaning compared to 1080 launch price). Nothing wrong either with those who are thinking "I'm going to wait a bit and see if in a short time we will be able to figure out what Nvidia is up to with these Volta rumors".
