    Correct, but if less cooling is enough cooling, more cooling isn't necessarily better.

    It seems many just want to give it everything they can just to do so, with no regard for whether they need it. Thats what I ever question

    Same often holds true for power supplies.

    I kept reading articles the last month that said the 1080TI wasn't going to face the production/distribution issues versus demand like the 1080 had.
