I don't change the voltage on mine either essenbe. It changes dynamically on its own. All comes down to cooling. Core clock will change on its own if the card get colder, and the V correspondingly, and obviously will drop core as temps rise.
I don't get voltage. Tried a newbie curve once and Firestrike crashed. My understanding is taking voltage up as high as that 1.093 threshold will stabilize the OC. So, for example that 2100MHZ clock will more likely stay there with the voltage adjustment. But won't you just crash with the voltage adjustment as the temp threshold is reached? Maybe you're supposed to find the right balance of a voltage adjustment and temp, the key I guess and doing a better job than what boost 3.0 does. But with no voltage adjustment doesn't boost 3.0 simply up your clock anyway until you reach the temp limits?

Maybe I'll get a chance to learn some of these things about Pascal though. :)
Ah, Dude and essenbe in epic 1080TI benchmark battles.

@Dude would win easily. He has this Pascal stuff down pat. I would have to learn @doorules secrets.

Doorules secret is Canadian artic air. I invited you to Montreal for St Pat's day and you wouldn't come. It was only -8C then. Doorules benchmarks at -30C along with a wind chill coming off the North Atlantic ocean.

Not much of that in Florida. We have to make our own cold air.

Well, I too am waiting to see the AIB 1080TI's go against the Titan Pascal, especially the FTW 3 given EVGA are now cooling fanatics after the bad publicity around Vram 1080 heat. Also like to see the AIB's who typically set clocks higher than the others, Asus, etc.

Even talk about that sounds expensive, how much is that 1080Ti supposed to be, 1000 bucks or more ?

That's the big question now, the price of the top end AIB 1080TI's. Gotta be somewhere above $700USD (founders) and hopefully nowhere near Titan Pascals, which I believe are dropping in price anyway, just like the 1080's.

We'll start a poll of who can guess the price of the top of the line AIB cards. There's only 1 I care about (right now)
