What is this quiet frustration you are talking about
That would be great
I will let her know
She is using my old 970 now. She doesn't understand the beauty of a beast card
I may just get another 1070 since I always wanted to try SLI, but yes I would love to have a Ti
There you go guys, I'm thinking to upgrade to Rx 460 and you are talking about such expensive stuff !!!
What did they do, shop around for the lowest clocking Titan they could find, lmao.
I just spent two days folding at 2100 on my core for primary card and 2075 on the second. Yes I am on water cooling but c'mon. Both my cards ran over 200 on the core with air cooling, easily.
Just go look at Futuremark HOF. Totally dominated by Titans still.
Bring on the AIB cards, maybe he can make a valid point then.
He said no voltage increase, if that makes a difference. But still, I saw little difference in them, unless you consider 2 FPS a big win.
I don't change the voltage on mine either essenbe. It changes dynamically on its own. All comes down to cooling. Core clock will change on its own if the card get colder, and the V correspondingly, and obviously will drop core as temps rise.
All my best results have come without touching the top slider in AB. I have tried benches using the curve which locks in a higher V but never as good a result for me.
And all Titans and Ti's are locked into a max of 1.093V for now. Adding voltage to these cards really does not help much at all, at least that is my experience with them.
even though I do some gaming I pay little to no attention to fps, just not enough difference to mean anything. bench marking however is a different matter.
I had heard that Pascal didn't like voltage, my 980 doesn't either. I didn't know it changes dynamically though. Maybe I'll get a chance to learn some of these things about Pascal though. :)
A guy who has every COD game and loves BF1 wants to try SLI? Every COD game will be running with the second card pretty much idling. BF1, very likely you'll experience more and more flickering with every driver update.
IMHO holding out for that DudeTI is your better idea given the games you enjoy.
