    Ryzen is being sold tomorrow. Have to make room for the baby. Back to laptop life I go. I feel like I'm just going back to how I was 7 months ago.

    My desk has to go away for the changing table and crib. So no place to put a desktop.

    We live in a one bedroom apartment. It's OK though. I've been wanting a new Thinkpad P50. Then I can take all that power with me everywhere.

    Got my system running cool and quiet with the following settings:

    RAM = 3200 14 14 14 31 1T @ 1.35v (XMP)
    8700k = 4.7 GHz (all cores) @ 1.28v
    AVX off set of 3 (4.4GHz)
    Cache = Auto (4.4GHz)
    Idle temps = 33oC +/-
    Max temps = 60oC +/-
    Fans are set as before (6700k system) to be low and very quiet.
    Those are impressive results! Great job!
