Some of the gaming results shown but like you said 6 cores / 12 threads and 5GHz with some RGB does look nice. Availability will be scarce here for a while but knowing me I will go with it. Cheers Steve

May even beat @solarstarshines Time Spy and Fire Strike scores
I still have my 6850k it is still the king of Single core right behind the 6700k lol

I had a Latitude at my last job and it was a good solid machine. I bought a new Inspiron after seeing how solid they are now a days. My work had stopped buying Latitudes for employees and issues Inspiron 5000 series now.

In this console port world we PC gamers live in, someone please wake me up when games start taking advantage of 6 cores/12 threads.
You might be napping for quite some time.

I've always been pleased with my Dell's. Used Inspiron, Latitude, Precision, Dimension and Optiplex over the last 20 years and all have done very well for me.

My work has over 70 Optiplex’s and 15 Inspiron’s. We just retired the last old Core2Duo Latitude. The Inspiron 5000 series are great bang for the buck these days. I would buy one if I needed a 15” Laptop.
