If it was available now I could rationalize that as a "buy now" as the CDN dollar is currently much higher .82068. Ah no. That 2080 TI might be tempting, though.

But, you'll have to wait 6 months after the 2080 for it to come out. Just bite the bullet and buy a Titan XV(?) Titan V(?) or whatever they call it.

My rationale for moving from a 1080 to a 1080 TI was the frustration in rmaing two 1080's, my nephews and getting myself onto the TI cycle, not the 1080 cycle.

I'm good, as you can see from my gaming OSD numbers.

Your reason for moving to a TI was your gambling habits. You can't con a con man.

That win with $20 in the slot machine WHILE WAITING FOR A SHOW did put me over the edge for that purchase. Habit, no way. I'm a stats major. The only way to get me back to the casino is if Quebec starts having hurricanes and floods and the casino is the only shelter available. Probability of that happening? 0.0%

Corsair Link 4.8.3.8 released. Keeping my fingers crossed on the resolution of the Link/CUE conflict:

09/15/2017 - Corsair Link Software Update Version v4.8.3.8

    Changelog:
Conflict between CUE and CORSAIR LINK software is fixed.
Intermittent shutdown for systems with AX1500i is fixed.

    Known Issues:
Some users may experience intermittent “driver unsigned” issue when installing Corsair Link.
Custom fan curves may experience dip to 0 RPM.
Vengeance RGB DRAM may not be recognized on some motherboards with the B250 chipset.
AMD Ryzen processors show temperature 20C above actual.

I say thus far because I don't think the drivers have been optimized yet for this card yet.

Anyway I'm interested in getting this card, but the price is a bit steep right now. Thoughts?
    I'm going for it.

I hope it works out well for you Drew. I have no idea why the price is that way. I wouldn't have thought it would be the miners, they typically don't like paying that much for cards, as I understand it.
