Question for you guys, which would you pick, a GTX 970 OC or a Radeon R9 390?
What will be the main reason for using the GPU? AMD is king for cryptocurrency mining but draws a lot more power than the 970. The 970 is better in the gaming department.

Enough of my "red herrings" lol and back to why "some systems get that 3dmark error. Not buying their answer.
The joys of random occurrences and Futuremark not really having a handle on it. You can even do things to alleviate the symptoms (turn off hardware monitoring) but the specific root causes remain unresolved.

    Yes! Donate it to me!

    ...kidding...

Fill it with BIG HDDs and add more RAM and you have a really good file server. If you are into Virtual machines, then you could use it as a VM host. Maybe make it a deployment server, or make it a database, compiling and source control host if you are into software development.

I can come up with many uses for it, that I would need right at this moment. :)

    You are very welcome!

If none of the things I mentioned are for you, then maybe just dedicate it as a Windows Insider testing platform. Just make sure it has about 8-16GB RAM and it would be a good testing platform.

It may make a good media server too. Like Slicendice said, send it to me. I would use it.
