    Another tip concerning our Wonderful Xbox ....even thou we got it turned off, sometimes, Xbox Game Monitoring (xbgm) can turn itself on. If you want to make sure it NEVER runs, and are not afraid of changing a reg entry, do the following steps in your registry, to completely keep it turned off permanently.

    Search this line

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xbgm

    Change Start REG_DWORD----> (right slick mouse to Start---->change 3 to 4)----> 0x00000003 (3) to 0x00000004 (4)

    Open services and check Xbox Game Monitoring, it will be disabled.

    Done

    I just watched this, and decided instantly, I will never, ever, ever, do a custom loop.
    As cool as they look, it's waaaaaayy to much work & maintenance, and I am way to lazy.

    Thank the mighty Byte Monster, for AIO's(when I finally get one).

    I worked a lot with hydraulics but it's very tedious job. Wanted to be fancy and put all rigid hydraulic pipes inside a small space with even smaller opening in a machine for burnishing inside bores of master cylinders. 160 yards of rigid pipe in a space 2 x 2 foot and opening half that. 2 weeks of work and one leak only. Needless to say after that I always made hydraulic center OUTSIDE a machine.

    If you build a custom water cooling system, then make sure maintenance is part of the design. It is not that difficult to do. Most system builder don't consider this at all.

    A good design won't require you to remove anything from the computer, and possible (highly unprobable) leaks would stay outside of the system.

    I'm still considering making one nice and efficient cooling system but it would go into own case, same as this one (Chieftec Dragon Server) bolted to the back side of main one. That way only heat exchanger would be on the processor connected by flex hoses. As this are large cases, I'm tempted to use chiller from office or home water fountain for extra cooling. The thing is, it's a trend to make CPUs more efficient, producing less heat so it's less advantageous to have large coolers .
