I got it close to where it should be in Time Spy. I don't have GRW installed right now though. I did change the font size a little larger.
Great, thanks. BTW, on my 1080P 27 inch monitor 1725 on the x axis worked well.

Ya, maybe a new Intel or AMD motherboard before I ever see that validated bios.

It's probably because I enlarged the Font size. That was at 1720. At least I was close. My Monitor is the same size/resolution as yours

Tell Zotac EVGA gave their consumers a choice: 1) send the GPU back and EVGA installed the pads for free or 2) EVGA would send their consumers a free thermal pad kit with installation instructions. Blackrose installed his thermal pads himself.
That is basically what was in the email I replied to them. Don't think Zotac is a patch on EVGA when customer services are taking in to account but who knows...

Ya, right. Your font size was bigger. Makes sense, and you always do. :)

I don't think any AIB comes close to EVGA's customer support. When the issue first hit the net, EVGA simply came out with a bios revision that increased the default fan speed. They knew that would and did lower temps. They didn't have to come out with the thermal pad mod but did. One of the reasons was the thermal pad mod brought temps in line with most other AIB partners.

So Zotac could and may politely say "stick it". I suspect you always run Nessie on a decent fan curve anyway. But I would still consider thermal pads.

I Run Nessie on the std fan curve and don't here a peep out of her unless I am torturing her a little (she likes it). If Zotac come back with "Stick It" then Zotac will loose a customer.
