On paper this device has everything I need and much more. I would order it with the fastest CPU and most RAM, and then fill it with the biggest and fastest storages available atm. 4x4TB SSD for virtualization, 2 x 256GB M.2 SATA for cache and 8 x 10TB HDD for other data. And possibly expand it later with the QNAP expansion enclosures, if needed.

We have multiple QNAP's at my work. They are really good and the UI is awesome. That's my experience with them.

I've been looking at other brands, but every time I keep returning to study the QNAP. Seems they give much more bang for the buck.
