Overclockers....?
Any comments on this(I just found out about it, and it's freakin' cool(pun intended)
Hex CPU Cooler | Phononic
Not bad idea but not entirely new. It's OK for most stock speeds but 135W TDP is not exactly overclocking paradise.
I just prefer clean low profile coolers, regardless of case.
Anyway one of the things I like about AIO coolers is their small footprint in the CPU area and thus why use them. Before that I tried low profile coolers as I never was a fan of the big tall ones. Here's one I was using before I moved to the AIO's - Noctua NH-C12P SE14 (next 3 images).
2017 Hardware???
Now iTHIS! is a workstation motherboard! Way to go ASRock!
ASRock > Z270 SuperCarrier
Supports 4-Way SLI with NVIDIA® Quadro® & GTX VGA Cards
4-Way SLI & CrossFireX Supported by PLX PEX 8747 Bridge
Via the onboard PLX PEX 8747 bridge chip, this flagship motherboard is able to support 4-Way SLI or 4-Way CrossFireX effortlessly. Not only support GeForce GTX multi-GPU, it is also fully compatible with NVIDIA® Quadro® professional desktop workstation graphics solutions 4-Way SLI.
How is it that board doesn't support HDMI 2.0, especially for the asking price of $379.99?
Other than being a Z270 board, 4-Way SLI/Crossfire support, and supporting 3 NVME drives, I'm not sure there's much there that my Z170X (Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming GT) board doesn't have/do - 14-Phase, got it. Dr. Debug, yeah. HDMI 2.0, yes. Kaby Lake support - yes, with F20 Bios update (out now).
Nice looking board though. Neat and clean looking. Love the silver theme. I do think it's slightly overpriced for what you get compared to Gigabyte's Z270X-Gaming 8 board at $399.99.
