I want to joint the insiders, and test an i15 for them
As I was never a rich man I classify all things in categories:
Must have.
Need to have.
Like to have.
Would love to have but no chance to have.
Well put.Tommy, most of Intel's fan base is not interested in a 18 Core/36 Thread CPU. For those that use them, it may not be such a bad price. But an 8 core/16 thread CPU for $600 is not too bad. Stop going to extremes. It wasn't made for people like you and me. If you want to go back to AMD, go. You don't need an excuse about something you are not going to buy anyway and have no use for, no matter what they charge. I can assure you AMD is not going to sell their 16 Core Threadripper for $500.
And I agree, a $600 dollar 8 core 16 thread CPU for that price will be most appealing to a lot of "Intel fans" including me. Having said that, being I just built my current system I'm going to stick with it for a while. But were in need of a new machine now, yeah, an Intel 8-core, 16-thread processor for $600 would definitely be in my price range. And I think this is the processor AMD needs to worry about.
That's the cpu I hope Nessie will end up withWell put.
