Nice video Worf. That's the mission I playing right now.
At least the video that came up when the Nessie and company one was finished. Nice looking build. It looks really clean.

Nice video Worf, looks like you spent a little time making it too. My desk has never been that clean. :)
Yep. And sygnus21 take a look at how big this card is. It's about the same size as the two Winforce 970's combined. This reviewer mentioned 4.5lbs-5.0lbs.
And the reviewer recommends a brace just to be safe. Have you figured out why Worf calls it Nessie?

Definitely not interested in a card where I need a winch to hold it up. That's a bit much for me
The 1080TI's are big, period, most AIB versions other than EVGA taking up 3 slots. I think the Asus one is around 12 inches and 3 lbs. The AIB's make trade offs, some adding size to extend the fansink for additional cooling and adding width which reduces noise, particularly in the three fan configuration.
But ya, a GPU like the Zotac 1080TI AMP Extreme isn't for everyone. Personally, when I see a GPU like this beat everything in it's class in games and benchmarks both at stock and overclocked, and run games at no less than 2000MHZ and no more than 60C, the point that some recommend additional support due to size doesn't bother me. In some cases size matters and has its benefits.
