So many benefits most wouldn't even have imagined being on top of the leader boards.

Well Mr. Worf, I guess you're smiling. But I just gave the ladies' number to doorules.

Just FYI, guys...if you're an EVGA Elite member and have bought a 10 series card after March 1st, EVGA will give you a free copy of the advanced version of the Superposition benchmark.

See the benefits of buying the higher priced FTW 1080 back in May, 2016? Oh, wait, other than the fun it gave me from that time, I got nothing.

What did JHH say about the R&D on Pascal before it was released? Was it $2B. Can't wait to see the release asking price of Volta if he is saying $3B R&D on Volta.

See that guys, right from Nvidia's CEO. "Pascal is fast, but not fast enough"

I got lucky. I unregistered my 1080 FTW either yesterday or the day before. Hit up EVGA and they re-registered it for me so I could qualify for the promotion.

Good job, Blackrose. EVGA is great aren't they? Don't worry about specialkone, he's just jealous.

They really are. Their fantastic customer service definitely makes me want to spend my money with them over other brands.

No I'm not jealous. Our Blackrose is likely one of EVGA's best customers and well deserving. Anyone else, ya probably.

Also, have no clue what the advanced version of Superposition does. What it should be doing is providing DX12 support. But I assume Nvidia is happy. They spent huge $$$ on DX11 in driver development and definitely have an advantage there.

As far as I know, it allows posting to the leaderboard, and custom settings. just looked, it adds some vr capability and looped stability testing

It was real nice of them though to let us use the "Interactive" portion in the Basic version, I feel.(like some of their other ones, like walking around in Heaven)

I downloaded Passmark's Monitor test, today, to see if I can use it to calibrate my new 4K this weekend.
It's a trial version, so I'll wait until I have more than enough time to do it.

PassMark MonitorTest - Test monitors and LCD flat panel screens
Well I was able to get at least a little better calibration with it, as it ran in 4K too, but when I tried it an compare it on my 1080 monitor it wasn't as good.
I just have to make due with it on 4K until either AVSForum creates one for 4K too, or I'm just stuck.

As the different settings that come with Display Pilot are pretty good and accurate(depending which mode you need at the time)

I only needed really to setup for evening when it's darker(lower contrast & brightness, and adjust gamma), so my eyeballs won't bleed in the early mornings or at night2017 Hardware Thread-bleedingeyes.gif
