@doorules, probably going to do the TI, but I haven't decided yet. My guess is the new ones won't be in the stores until about Oct. Then I will be wanting to wait for the 2080 TI. I'll never get a card.
    Sounds logical essenbe

Essenbe; here is what you would be scoring on Time Spy with that EVGA 1080TI on LN2.

EVGA teases GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Edition

Have you ever seen Kingpin's setup? He uses a Microsoft/or xbox controller for the feed which makes it somewhat closed loop.

2531 MHZ core and a 13425 Time Spy score - insane.

Don't for get he also has his 6950x under LN2 to get that score

And really if you cannot cool the card with LN2 or DICE then you will not see much of a difference from any other Ti out there. Pascal responds to cold and not much else. Throw all the voltage you want at it.

Sounds like a good use for my old broken hairdryer that has a burned out heating coil(only cool air).
Fill a pail with dry ice, put a towel over the ice(so no moisture gets in the air), put a lid on, with a hole cut in the top, put a small tube in the hole and seal up the rest, connect the other end of the tube to the hairdryer....
And blow that arctic cold onto the GPU.
Now I know why it's called brain "storming". Crappy weather - Crappy ideas

File this one under: TPI(Trailer Park Ingenuity)

@Cliff S, you need to come up with original ideas. This was published in 2011, just a little simpler than your way.
