Only thing changws in my specs. are I didn't get the G-Skill keyboard & mouse. I got a Logitech Prodigy G213 and Prodigy G403 instead. Now I'm onto upgrading my Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 to a EKWB EK-XLC Predator 240 in push/pull next month.

I just got a complex fracture and dislocation on my left ankle. Had 2 operations on it last Tuesday & Friday. Surgeon said it was the worst of both he ever treated. 1st hospital wasn't up to touching it transferred me to another hospital/
I basically can't use my left leg for 6-8+ weeks.
I already started physical therapy on it this morning.
I won't be lifting this pc at least until the middle of February, as my left leg can't handle any weight on it yet..

Right now I can't sit at my pc, too long. Maybe 20 minutes at a time. Then I have to lay down for a while The bones broke through my skin in 4 spots.

I'm pretty doped up now on pain killers, anti-imflammatory meds and blood thinners, so I'll be a little out of it for a few weeks.

No the 5-way Optimizatioon actually adds it's settings to the uefi/bios. It also can be set to be per-core overclock or all-cores overclock and it stresses your pc, until it crashes. You then restart your pc and it set's the last good overclock settings prior to the crash, and proceeds to check fan speeds and ram stress test, if you check the ram stress test box in it.
    It's pretty fail-safe.
I found the Maximus VIII versions of AI Suite III to have bugs.
The Z-170 Pro version of AI Suite III works on my Maximus VIII Hero and the bugs appear to be gone in it.
The November, 2016 issue of Maximum PC had a cpu & video card overclocking guide in it. It had some Asus DIGI+ Power settings tweaks to add, too.
I've got those settings going for my cpu and my Sapphire NITRO+ RX 480 overclocked higher to Video Speed:1450 and Ram Speed to 2150, using mV+60 settings and a custom fan curve.
I use Folding@home 24/7 for a little over 6 weeks now and my pc has already earned over 12,250,000 points.
That's with my pc being off for 4 days due to a hospital stay for a complex left ankle fracture & dislocation.
Have no clue how many pins are holding it together, but the surgeon said I had the worst fracture he's ever fixed.
Now, I get to re-learn how to use my left leg again.
Fun 6-8+ weeks in my future.Atleast the 3 spots my ankle went through aren't ozzing blood now, after Friday's 2nd surgery on it.

Ahhh ,I see no weight baring for a couple months Dude that sounds like a pretty bad fracture i see it all the time though not ankle's particularly but i see lots of fractures

Yeah, it's a little bit tough now. I'll eventually get better. It may and probably will take longer due to me being a type 1 diabetic and having numerous cuts from the fracture/dislocation and the 2 surgeries..
I think the bone only went through the right side of my ankle.
Sunday morning when the first physical therapist came , removed the bandages/half-cast and cleaned it, I saw 4 cuts.Bottom of foot below my toes, shin, heel and right side of ankle.
With the first surgery, when they had the rubber or ceramic piece around my ankle with 4 metal rods connected into my ankle, I only had sever pain, if I laid with the right side of my ankle on a pillow. I didn't have pain in the other 3 cuts areas I saw. Those 3 cuts must be from Friday's surgery, where they removed the first surgeries device and put the pins inside my foot, leg and ankle.
Supposedly according to both physical therapists, my stitches should be rmove 2 weeks from the 2nd surgery and the wrapping and half-cast 6 weeks from the 2nd surgery.
Then I get to relearn to put weight on it and use it.
They're trying to get me a walker, as I can't get the wheelchair in my bathroom and I'll probably lose my grip sooner or later and fall, as I have to grap stuff and hop on my right leg in and out of the bathroom.
Not fun getting to the bathroom when I can't hold my urine due to being in stage 3 kidney disease from the diabetes.
Not fun when I can't hold my urine and it takes 2-3 minutes to get the wheelchair out of my bedroom.
I've probably been wear 1/3 of it in my underwear and shorts each time I have to go.
Since this fracture/dislocation happened, I've been having to go every 20-40 minutes tops. Funny part is I don't drink that many liquids and my blood sugar hasn't been too high to account for that many bathroom trips. It's definitely some sort of side effect from the dogbite, bikefall, fracture and dislocation.

I no how you feel with not holding urine due to kidney problems. I had chronic kidney failure back in 2004. Went on dialysis for 4 years then transplant in 2008. Everything fine now though thanks to the transplant which is 9 year old in February. I remember weeing my self twice after transplant but that under control now. Hope you get everything under control.

Any way. For overclocking then is it ok to reset default bios. Make it so XMP is enabled.

Actually I set XMP in the uefi first and then ran AI Suite III's 5-way Optimazion. It left my rams DDR4 3200 XMP speed alone and overclocked my cpu (i5 6600K0 to 4.5GHz., so setting uefi to default settings, enabling XMP and pressing F10. Then give 5-way Optimization a go. Just make sure you download the version of AI Suite III for the Z170 Pro motherboard. It works on all newerZ170 Maximus VIII motherboard, too, without any bugs that the various Hero mobo's AI Suite III has. Temporarily disable your a/v while it runs and it will change the uefi settings for you. Then just do the DIGI+ 's 3 settings I listed earlier, press F10 to save and restart your pc. Then run RealBench's Stress Test on it for 1 hour. You should be good.
I need to go for the afternoon. Windows Update to run and physical therapy on complex ankle fracture and dislocation in under 1 hour now.
