My 7.1 Corsair set Rocks but I`d think a Logitech set will be fine.

Corsair Gaming H2100 Wireless Dolby® 7.1 Gaming Headset - Greyhawk

Logitech G Gaming Audio – Headsets and PC Speakers

There are software based sets and there are sets with a full 7 drivers in each earpiece, but they cost more, and as you`ve read I don`t think they compare to a good stereo set using software and a good sound card.

Bose may make the best stereo headphones out there, but they aren`t cheap.

    Bose headphones

And I think Sony`s are fine too.

I found some sanheiser ones. But they are expensive, so I think they will wait a long while until I pick them up.

So. Got the rig all built. However it's not complete. I need to wait till my final package comes with all my goodies in it. But so far everything works. I also need to buy a fan header to connect all these fans to. Honestly they are so quiet, I may just run them at 100% all the time.

Got the ram ram running at 3200mhz with xmp. Left everything else stock for now until I get windows to install. The case was ok to build in. There were only really 3 things that bothered me. But nothing too bad. The mobo does not have the best layout, so cable management was a bit tough. It's. not as clean as I hoped. The tubes for the water cooler are extremely long, so I may have to rotate it so that the water block is not rite side up. Which sucks, but there's too much pressure on the mounts and side window. I got the GPU to fit perfectly fine and even have room for a push pull config. Overall even though I have not gotten windows up yet, I'm pleased on how it came out and the extremely small form factor. One thing I do not like is the gigabyte bios setup. I figured I'd give it a try cause the Asia version on this board was like $260. I don't regret it (yet) but I don't think I'll be buying anymore gigabyte boards. The GPU is nice though. I just can't wait to get my other goodies.

So after shipping to my Apo FPO address, I get an email that had a promo for 1 year of free newegg premium membership with 50% off all shipping to Apo FPO addresses. I also got a free WD 1TB HDD from them!!! So now I got 2.5TB of hard drive storage and 370GB of SSD storage. Lol not that all those are going to be plugged in. But that was incredibly nice of them!

Congrats on your new rig :) Sounds like a nice setup.
Next time you might want to look at the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA motherboard ....Much better than the one you choose.

I was looking into that one, but didn't want to spend that much. Again, I'm OCing to 4.5 and it's staying there. No reason for it to be higher.

Onthe the other hand. Got windows and all my programs installed. Working on configuring everything now.

Bought my headphones (Sennheiser PC 350 Special Edition) and I bought a fan hub. So now I have to wait for my other stuff to et here to finish this build off. I did a quick OC to 4.5 and it worked perfectly without touching voltage. So once I get my cooling setup properly, I'll be able to clock it to 4.5 and call it a day.

Whats weird is that the GPU clocks it's self to 2000mhz, but quickly drops to 1949 after like 5 mins. I can't figure this out as the power target and temps are all within the norms. Maybe some other power target is making it throttle.

That is how GPU 3.0 Boost on Paschal works. It starts down clocking at 35C and something like every 5-10C afterwards. Great build
