I think it has to do with the sign in part of the boot.
On windows 7 & 8, after BIOS, I went strait to the desktop,
on 10, no matter if it is a reboot, cold boot, or using fast startup(which I have turned off along with hibernate because FPR's weren't getting done causing stability problems),
the sign in page still shows for a sec. And that when I have password sign in turned off in netplwiz!

And my WIndows 7 does it in 27sec (I should take a snapshot). :)

Why didn't you wait for that new nVME Samsung M.2 SSD instead? :)

I don't have the connections I believe. In the PDF it say's I have

3x PCI express X 1 adapter slots (all empty, but for an SSD?)

1x PCI express X 16 adapter slot(being used by my video card)

4x SATA connectors (I really only have 3x(2x SATA & 1x SATA 1.5 for DVD), 4th might be in another place for the SD/MMC cards)

Yup, if you don't have an M.2 Gen3 x4 slot, you won't be able to harness it's full speed.
My mobo has two M.2 slots. One x2 and one Gen3 x4 (Ultra M.2). But if you don't have M.2 slot, you will still need a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and a PCIe adapter ($30).

I was just showing how much slower the boot time is in W10 as opposed to W8.1. And from what I remember, the restart time for W7 fell somewhere between what I'm getting for 8.1 and 10.

Yup. I was just pointing out also how slow W10 is. :)

I was(only was) thinking of hooking my 840 Pro to the 1.5 SATA because I very rarely use the DVD(for ripping music as I have a Blu-Ray Home Cinema) and I could place the disk on top of it. But then I thought, naaaa leave it as a last chance reserve backup. Or I can re-image 8.1 back on and save that, naaaaa. I just wish I had one more SATA 6 plug... Oh well, I can wish in one hand and poo in the other, but I know which one will fill up faster:)
