    yes; i only have what I need enabled in the startup programs. As far as a ssd; I would love to get one but I cant afford it right now. Just dont have the funds for it. But like i said; since i have a 7200rpm drive; it should be faster than that on loading.

    After adding a couple of programs it gained a few seconds, no big deal, I turn it on and go get dressed in the morning anyhow.

    Ah, that's just restart anyhow. Of course it takes longer. I have shut off the hybrid boot(fast startup) because my FPR's(FilePendingRenames) were not getting done, causing some stability issues(for some reason some active tiles like weather or calendar either stopped updating or turning on all together), a possibility could be my SSD is just too fast and some things were getting bottle necked.
