    I've decided to leave my most used programs on at start up so they're ready when I need'em. I'll take the ding in start up time, for faster opening times.

    This is with Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, 3 internal spinners, 2 DVD drives and an external backup drive.

    Those of you who want to have a fast startup AND start a few programs at the same time I recommend to delay the startup of the programs by 10 seconds (or so). That will not interfere with your work and you have the startup programs out of the way.
