Windows 10 misreading CPU overclock

This isn't a big deal at all, but I noticed in the main System screen that lists Windows edition and hardware etc, it lists my cpu @ 4.2 GHz, when it is actually OCed at 4.620 GHz. It is figuring the multiplier, but not the increase in FSB.

I have seen other programs do this, like the gadget "All CPU Meter", but if I check it with CPU-Z or similar it shows correct at 220x21 4620.

I know it is just a misread, but it triggers my OCD a bit. Is there a fix for this?

No, it is reading the specs from the CPU not what overclock you have on it. That is typical. This is mine.

That may be, it is an FX-8350 which is 4.0 GHz/4.2 GHz "turbo". I have turbo turned off and all cores at 4.62. I think Windows 7 read it correctly though. But like I said, no big deal.

It has never read mine correctly, windows 7 or 10. It is supposed to be reading the values from the CPU miricode.

In W7 and 8 you'd have to rerun WEI if OC was done after installation, don't know if that would help with 10.

Interesting, still not for me. It records the change in multiplier, but not the FSB.

Weird. Here's a shot of CPU-Z. You can see I changed both Multiplier and Bus. Are we on the same W10 build?

Also, I'm curious about your OC settings in general.

My rig is rock solid running @ 4.52 with stock voltages. Bumping up to 4.6 requires higher VCore voltage for me.

What about your NB and HT frequencies? I try to keep mine at 2200 and 2600, respectively.

Are you having any stability issues with the 2133 RAM? I ran my 1866 at 2133 for awhile, but it did have some issues.
