    A small bump.
I went into BIOS and set my Ring Ratio(north bridge) from Auto, which at a 4.9GHz CPU OC is usually 4.1GHz, to within 300MHz to 4.6GHz.
Plus I bumped up my 1080's core clock from +180 to +185.

Did you add any memory overclock to the GPU? It should be running markedly better than that.....try at least +550 on the memory.

I can't go that high without BSODing, I had(for the run only):

I'd also roll back the driver to 378.78. The newest driver is horrible.

I don't get this. Vellinious said somewhere that a 1080 with a "basic/simple" OC should get 8100-8200 GPU scores. My GPU oc I guess is basic, no voltage, +125 core and +500 memory and I do get 8159 on the graphic score.

No way I can get +180 core (simple oc). +130 works sometimes. I run at +125/+500.
Cliff- what graphic score do you get at +125/+450-500?

My CPU OC to 4.8 is this:
How to Overclock Your CPU: Intel 6700K, Asus VIII Hero: Tutorial - YouTube

plus a multiplier switch to 48 and VC to 1.38.

And I'm running memory at its basic XMP.

What's going on here, experts? I guessing more throttling with Cliff, or back to no GPU, CPU is the same or maybe different MB.

Offsets mean nothing....some GPUs have a higher base clock than others. +150 core clock offset on one card could mean 2150 and on the next it mean 2089. It's an arbitrary number that means exactly squat. I usually don't even bother responding to people when they just post their offsets.

My first guess, since it's Pascal, would be cooling. That's the biggest limitation on these GPUs. They need to run COLD to run well at higher clocks.

500 memory crashes for me, I can only go to 485 for 3D Mark, 480 for Catzilla, and 450 for Unigine benchmarks.

My score for Time Spy is humiliating. Its 510. No where near most other systems here.

My score for Sky Diver isnt so bad though. That is around 6100.

My score showed 2088 MHZ, yours 2063MHZ, not far off. But I think that shows the max clock, even if it's just for a second. I'd be more interested in knowing the minimum clock you get during the Time Spy run. Sadly, XOC OSD won't work for me in Time Spy but in Firestrike (longer test) my clock doesn't go below 2,000 MHZ. I suspect your clock is dropping lower than mine, thus cooling/throttling as mentioned. Air flow (750D full tower) in my case is fairly good.

I'm actually wondering more about the CPU scores. Me 4.8, you 4.9 and my CPU score is higher. Maybe throttling/heat as well. My runs at 4.8 have CPU temp in the 60's and the absolute highest spike was 71.
