Downstairs bedroom with all windows wide open. I chill it down for about an hour then bring pc down to room. Let it sit for a while so all components get cold before I start it up. It was 3' C this morning outside and really not much more if any warmer inside the room. :)

When it gets really cold out in the winter, like -15' C I just open a couple windows and hook up pipes to my rads from outside. I have to use fans then to help make sure no condensation hits pc. I have had it cold enough that the flex pipes running to rads have been covered in frost.

That's cold. I'm from Florida. I don't like that kind of weather. I have seen it that cold here, but it rarely lasts for over a couple hours and it happens about every 5 years.

This is the best I could get with my laptop with the core @ 2038 and mem @ 9040 which is pretty incredible it could handle it imo. Wish I had the 6820HK instead of the 6700HQ so I could OC since that's really the only thing holding me back, maybe I'll upgrade it when prices come down.

This 980 is beginning to get long in the tooth.. But I game at 2560x1080, not sure when I'll make the move to 1440 Ultrawide, but when I do, that's when I'll upgrade the 980, either with a second one, or go for one strong card with the option to add a second later. The rest of my system is still kickin' ass no problem. This run was done at 4.2 on the Cpu and 1360 on the Gpu, very modest overclocks, not going for top score, this is more typical of my day to day performance.Time Spy - DirectX 12 benchmark test-clipboard03.jpg

    Edit:

Man oh man the 10 series are insane aren't they? Beating my desktop (graphics) which was nearly the best you could build 18 months ago.

@Dude, do you have systeminfo hardware monitoring turned off in options? If not turn it off and see if you get a better score.

Yeah, my desktop has SLI'd 970s which I added about 18 months ago as well and a fairly heavily OC'd 4770k which still beats this score but it's insane how close it is considering this is a laptop with a single GPU and It's A LAPTOP lol. That used to be a dirty word when it came to gaming. One cool feature on this is it supports up to 3 external displays, so it's a LAN gamer's dream. USB 3.1 has some pretty amazing abilities. The laptop comes with 3x USB 3.0 and 1x USB 2.0, but also 1x USB 3.1 which can support a display and several USB 3.0 slots all from the same plug.
