    Combination of both. I also added new RAM. It's 2400, but my system doesn't like the xmp setttings for 2400. I manually set it at 2200 with tighter timings.

    I have Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz DDR4 running with the XMP profile with the timings of 14 - 16 - 16 - 31 2T

    Can I tighten those timings?

    I will look into that, I know nothing about DDR4

    Another one point bump, lol. I figured out two settings in my BIOS which were stopping me from using the new Ram at 2400.
