If you have benched enough on your OS, and you are really trying hard... meaning you have gone through many lockups, bsods...
Then a clean install will do wonders for you, and I bet you can get bumps in your scores as well. Hard bench marking runs an OS down, no two ways about it.
A good reason to use a Native Boot VHD to bench, with a minimum of programs programs installed, so you don't keep needing to reinstall all your software, keys, and re-setup everything all the time

You can leave the .vhd or .vhdx file in its current location, or copy it to another drive. You can even copy the virtual hard disk to another computer and use it on that computer for native boot. If your intention is to continue using it also in Hyper-V in addition to native boot, leave it where it is
I used to make my own stripped down version of windows for benching. Can't be bothered to go that far anymore.
I don't have anything critical on my main rig OS. 20 to 30 mins and I have everything installed that I use. Just enough time for one good coffee and good to go again.
If I was really serious about my scores I would for sure just use one of the available programs on the web to make my own stripped windows ISO.
