Well I was not sure which it was Cliff.....with my 8700k and my new gpu, my scores were very nice. Also never had my cpu, give me a Windows hardware fault either, when benchmarking Heaven ....But I can run Heaven, but my scores are not to my liking ....Heaven was made in 2009 ....its a very old benchmaking app I think. Not really up to todays gpu's and cpu's .
They really should upgrade their product for todays cards and chips.

Didn't you update the BIOS for the 9900K?
I mean, I remember when you tried updating also a while ago while using the 8700K(wasn't a couple months back?), you said your scores were all lower then, if I remember correctly.
Could that be the "culprit"?

No as I updated to the latest bios before I put this chip in. Think we talked about it a week or so ago....its Heaven. My scores are ok....just not what I want. Took me a while to turn everything down for Heaven. My bios is now 1704 Cliff...

Memory clock isn't too bad but core has always killed it if too high.

It is VERY sensitive to memory settings Mike !!!!!

Never know which crashes sometimes looking at msi af graphs looks like either a driver crash or msi af crash you might flip a coin when msi af graph drops like a rock when it was curve and at 2050.....

Well we disagree....again. LoL I had to lower my memory to 0 so I could get it to run without crashing.
This app is real OLD, and really needs an upgrade in my opinion

Catzilla was always one of my favorites, but I had to give it up starting with 8700K
