    Not sure about your guys chips but in TS turning off HT gives a massive boost to cpu score.

    Not sure I can turn mine off Dave ....never seen it as a setting in my bios....but it might be there, and I missed it.

    There should be for sure a setting for cpu HT. Mine is under the advanced tab and cpu settings. It probably just has to do with the number of cores I have. At a certain point TS does not know what to do with them maybe.

    CPU advanced options
    With the meltdown and spectre fixes on the 9900k maybe it's not there ?

    Never had a cpu that could not turn off HT I think.

    Another boost might be to turn off the meltdown and specter fixes for benching.

    There is a tool for that

    I can hit 5.0 all day....5.1 I can run on most of my benchmarks ....but its not completely stable, yet.
