Great CPU score with the new one Cliff! Looks very strong!

I ran it again to try and beat my old score which was below 10k and managed it.

    Thanks Paul.
This chip actually needs less voltage to remain stable(and it's not as hot as all those reviewers were whining either). Maybe they should have used Z370 boards

Actually the Maximus X Hero does have really good voltage regulation(VRMs).

That's good, less voltage is always a good thing! You will have some fun with the new chip. Congrats!

    Hi,
    I don't buy it's that bad Cliff
I'd start by using some good advice Wolf said long ago more voltage core or power limit wise is not always best
    Lower them both
Use msi af 4.5 instead of the buggy as hell beta's !!!!!

    Just try power limit 85%
    Core at 117%
    Core clock +65
    Memory clock +666
That alone will probably get you past 10400

Increase Memory clock +50 until fragments start appearing then lower it till they go away.
Increase core clock +13 until unstable.
