Thanks, essenbe, missed you guys too. Look, dude didn't "bite" yet. Notice I didn't post a link. I'll try to give you the short version. While in QC we decided to see a Cirque du Soleil show which was at the local casino. We were early so decided to gamble $100 each. My first $20, I hit the jackpot and cashed out $1220. You think I played again? No way - I'm a stats major. Got to thinking. My FTW 1080 temps at 81C+ now in gaming are a bit bothersome to me. Talked to EVGA and they said to RMA. Was thinking about that and 3 weeks with no GPU. And then thought about the $1220 in my wallet and my nephews. So that money was spent today. You can see from the Time Spy detail and link. That's not an EVGA FTW 1080 I'm running.

Yep, you're right. You got me. I didn't even look, but was surprised a 1080 would do that stock. I was getting ready to RMA my card. :) At least I know who to go gambling with. Congrats on the new card, I'm really happy for you, as I am sure your Nephews are as well.
Thanks essenbe. Haven't told the nephews yet. Don't know whether to RMA the FTW 1080 or not. Not sure those 81C+ temps at gaming stock would be any different with the next RMA.
Dude; here's a better attempt at a 1080TI Timespy score. 9543.

It may have something to do with the CPU. On the results page it says Maximum Turbo core clock 0.
