Tommy, we don't all have 1080 TI's, I don't evan have a Pascal card, I have a Maxwell card and Sygnus21 has an AMD card. It isn't about which card you have whatever the cause is. We have different motherboards, chipsets, graphics cards and CPUs. I'm just trying to say it has nothing to do with which hardware we are running. It's happening to everything.

As Cliff mentions, make sure you have the latest version. Mine's the same as his. I'm not having any trouble with any of the 3d mark software (Firestrike, Time Spy) I run, except of course my xoc osd problem in Time Spy. Everything runs to completion, stock and overclocked.

Additionally are you using the Steam version or the stand alone. I have the standalone which I got from Guru 3D.

I crashed within 5 seconds of the benchmark starting. It did the same thing 4 times in a row. My CPU is all that is overclocked. It is perfectly stable. I can run AIDA, Prime, IBT or anything else with no problem. I can play any game I have with no problem. So, just on a whim, I went into BIOS and raised my Vcore by .015 and ran it again. It ran and completed. What was strange was that Firestrike crashed too before before I increased my Vcore. Afterwards it ran fine too. You may want to give that a try just to see.

I know my CPU is perfectly stable before I increased the voltage. Why increasing it made it run I have no idea unless it is something to do with the coding Mark 3D uses that you just have to power through. That is only a WAG, but the best I can come up with.
I mentioned in my first post on this that I wasn't overclocking. I haven't overclocked in years now. Just build and run at stock.

That said, when I DID try to overclock both GPU and CPU (bench purposes) 3DMark would definitely complain. And yeah, AIDA or others such as Haven wouldn't have issues.

I just think the program is a bit sensitive under Steam as I don't remember 3DMark ever crashing like this before the Steam version.

    Thanks.

For the record, I'm running an AMD R9 Sapphire Fury, not a 1080ti. And as mentioned, this isn't a recent occurrence (at least for me).

Try the stand alone version, Sygnus. If you do, after installing hit check for updates to ensure you have the latest version.
