I'm not trying to overclock it so i think it's running at default speeds with no turbo or overclocking
it hasn't frozen for like almost 2 and 1/2 hours now but i am still being ultra farefull
well I've installed Steam (a mess of games) / Origin (sims 4) / WoW / Minecraft my video/music player all the reverent codecs
manycam / xsplit broadcaster / Adobe Photoshop and Flash (and plugin/players)
hasn't crashed in awhile so i might mark this as temporarily solved
Hi both,
I see this thread has not been commented on for a very long time, however, I noticed in Solarstarshines Video that all their settings where accessible (well, most) and was wondering how to get mine accessible as most of mine (and I mean most) are greyed out?
Came here looking for similar things to do with the Turbo mode ect, but just noticed that in the video whilst i was looking.
Any help will be appreciated :).
Specs:
MSI 990FXA Gaming Motherboard
AMD 9590FX 8 Core CPU
2x Nvidia GTX 970 GPU
750watt Corsair PSU
32GB Hyper Fury X Ram 1800Mhz
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
I would guess your not being serious? :) But feel free to correct me if you are :S. I have 4x 200mm ThermalTake case fans in a Thermaltake Overseer tower plus the addition 120mm fan that came with the case and a Coolermaster Hyper Evo 412S CPU cooler with two 120mm fans on it... I think i got the fans covered as its like my own personal aircon in here when it is idle :) lol. Idle temps are below 10 degrees celcius on the CPU and around 15-20 degrees celcius on the motherboard.
Just to clarify though, I was talking about his settings in the OC settings menu. (Forgot to add that part)
Well in overclock settings you should have to override auto for the turbo boost, if not you could always turn the turbo core down to base clock speed.
I had the 970 so the bios looks identicle & should be easy to adjust unless you have the command center installed over-riding the bios settings ?
