    Also why not go with Generation 4 or 5 Devils Canyon and save some money 4790 is still a banger of a chip if you want a powerful build for cheap look into 4th or 5th generation combo sets there is minimal difference between the 6th generation and the other two very minor
    The Intel 4790 is $300. I'm on a budget. The i5 6500 which I plan to buy is $180.

    New Quarter new offerings and i was actually meaning GPU wise i don't know where you're located but you can do combo deals like this Intel Processor Motherboard Bundles | Micro Center

    Appreciate the link. But the i5 6500 ($180) with the MSI mobo ($55) both from other sources comes to a total of $235. This is much less than the combo deals in Micro Center.

    This is the mobo I'm going to get. I dont plan to use Sli or Crossfire. Let me know what you think of it:
