Getting more out of my laptop

    Hey guys,
I bought a laptop a few months back, namely this one and updated it to Windows 10 64 Bit. Have been told by a lot of friends that it's meant to be -great- for gaming, but my experiences have been somewhat... muted.

Sure, it runs my favourite games like Crusader Kings 2 and Europa Universalis IV quite well, but when I try to move up to something like Attila Total War or Witcher 3 it starts to die pretty quick. Hoping to get at least a wee bit more power eeked out of it for the near term so I can run Dark Souls III and Stellaris well enough till my desktop arrives, but unsure if it's even possible to eke out more power from this thing.

What do you guys think, got any ideas for me how to improve performance?

Hi, you will no doubt be aware of the basics:
Ensure idle CPU use and disk use is minimal or near zero
    Reduce startup items
Ensure you have 'enough' RAM and disk space

Gaming performance is of course limited by your hardware.

    Please see

    - maybe you'll find an idea that'll help.

The tutorial section is well worth looking through.
