You remove the cpu cooler and add water cooling you still have to have fans on the radiator, replace your fans with quieter ones
Did you try unplugging all the fans ?
That will surely make your pc quietheadphones work great too.
Iron Maiden and Black Label Society are good options also.

Hpwever, I do plan on replacing my fans with quieter fans, right now I'm just using the stock fan. I think I'll probably replace my PSU as well, later on when u have more money though.

Okay, well I've narrowed things down and it's my CPU fan which is making the most noise. It's the stock fan that came with my FX-6300.
So I think I'll buy a new fan and if that doesn't quiet it down enough for me, then I'll get the insulation.

Amigo Chuck. I had a fan noise problem awhile back and it turned out to be the psu fan. One morning woke up and no power. I had a spare psu so popped it in. Noise gone. Might give that a try if you have spare parts around the place. This noise only happened when cpu spun up to a high %. So I thought it was the cpu and time for a new hard drive. But darn fixed it with a power supply and now have to keep the old Gateway for a bit longer. Good luck to you, Charlie
Should have asked me first. I don't have hearing in right ear and have awful tinnitus and still those OEM cooler fans from AMD bothers me. They are turning over 5000 rpm. Seems like Stuka sirens were quieter. I routinely replace them. I mean whole cooler not only fan. Best way for quiet cooling is to put much better cooling than needed and than slowing fans down.

Watercooling isn't necessarily quiter than a well adjusted fan setup. Mine is semi-passively cooled and almost inaudible.
It can be a bit louder during gaming; it adjusts itself temperature wise. Good fans mean effective cooling with low rpm. Damping doesn't do much rather than avoiding noise at its source.
