I don't know if it's because of higher bandwidth of DDR4 but reportedly higher frequencies have more influence on games and programs performance than comparable frequency jump with DDR3. Same goes for multiple channel.

The Ram cost me £209. I believe there are 3466Mhz ram available.

CPU is a little warm, but have been doing anti virus scan and malwarebytes scans. Machine has been totally cleaned out so should be working at peak.

Overclocked and noisy(fans only), but stable and cool at idle:

Speccy continues to tick me off, always states 28C on MB sensor. Trying to build a good sensor in AIDA, will have to google if there are better templates out there showing more items
