    In between running benchmarks:
    Attachment 121143
Is that a 24/7 OC? If so, you don't have any fears about that voltage? I would worry above 1.4, but that's just me, and also I have no experience first hand with Z170/Z270.

No not my 24/7 in that way.
For 24/7 I turn on EIST & C-State, and CPU Core is set to adaptive.

For benchmarking, I turn off EIST & C-State, and CPU Core is set to override.

The first saves power, and the system only uses what it needs at the moment.

Skylake and Kaby Lake(and soon to be Cannon Lake) have built in thermal monitoring that will throttle the CPU if needed.

This is after about two hours of BF4. And I'm only running a little H55 120mm AIO.

The mobo was installed in January 2017.
I've yet to see it go over 28°C.
    Matter of fact,
    it's always at 28°C.

    Maybe that will change,
when summer arrives and the ambient temperatures are higher.

Have you tried using HWMonitor, its a free app, shows all your temps better than speccy
    HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID
You might like it a lot better.

I've use HWM a while ago, just didn't get around to picking it up.
Here's what Open Hardware Monitor has to say about my temps.
The ambient temp is a little cooler now then before.

This seems to be a bit more accurate of a reading.
